UPDATE: January 8 at 8pm:  

Town buildings, including the Athletic Club, will be closed on Thursday, January 9 due to inclement weather. However, most staff will work virtually to continue serving the community. Please visit the website at addisontx.gov for contact information.
 
CWD is reporting that trash services are running as scheduled for Thursday. They will evaluate road conditions on Thursday morning.

The Town of Addison is gearing up for the incoming winter storm by making plans and spraying bridges. Here’s how you can prepare:

Be Informed

Have a Plan

  • Weatherize your home: drip faucets, insulate pipes, and turn off sprinklers.
  • Prepare for power outages: charge devices and use generators safely.
  • Report outages via the Oncor app.
  • Know where your emergency water shut-off valve is.

Build a Kit

  • Stock up on food, water, and gas.
  • Pack items specific to your family’s needs, like medication or baby supplies.
  • Prepare a car emergency kit in case you get stuck on the road.
