At its April 22 meeting, the Addison City Council approved a new Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to support the next phase of the Addison Circle Station Transit-Oriented Development (TOD). The agreement extends exclusive negotiations with Quadrant Investment Properties (QIP), the Town’s selected development partner for the mixed-use office component.

This approval marks a significant milestone in a multi-year effort to bring Addison’s transit-oriented development vision to life. Since the Council adopted the Addison Circle Special Area Study in 2019, the project has evolved in response to market shifts, stakeholder input, and changes in the development team. The current concept—featuring office, hotel, retail, entertainment, and parking—was one of the original options envisioned in the Addison Circle Vision Plan. It reflects a thoughtful balance of preserving Addison Circle’s urban character while integrating new uses that maximize the Town’s investment in the DART Silver Line.

The TOD project is expected to serve as a catalyst for future redevelopment and reinvestment throughout the Addison Circle area. With more than 3,100 housing units already located within a half-mile of the station, Addison Circle Station is the most residentially dense TOD node along the Silver Line corridor, supporting vibrant public spaces, strong placemaking, and enhanced regional connectivity.
