During the January 28 City Council Meeting, General Services Director Bill Hawley provided an update on the Addison Conference Centre Remodel Project. The Council shared feedback on desktop technology, the layouts for the Council Chambers and Work Session rooms, and the facility renaming.
Upon completion of the project, the Addison Conference Centre will be renamed Addison Town Hall. The majority of the Finance Department will move into the current Town Hall building which will then be renamed the Addison Finance Building. When the Finance team relocates, utility billing operations will move to the Service Center, streamlining services for residents into one location.
