Meeting Information

City Council typically holds business meeting on the second and fourth Tuesday of the month and work sessions are frequently held prior to the regular meeting.

Planning and Zoning Commission meetings are typically held on the third Tuesday of the month.

Times and locations are subject to change. Agendas are posted below three days before meetings.

Meeting Location

As of March 5, 2025 Addison City Council and the Planning and Zoning Commission meetings have moved to Addison Town Hall, 5300 Belt Line Road. This move is temporary until renovations at the new Town Hall (former Conference Centre) are completed this fall.

Meetings will be live-streamed on the Watch Meetings Live page or on Channel 99 for AT&T subscribers and channel 16 for Spectrum subscribers.

How to Submit Public Comment

Public comment for City Council and Planning and Zoning Commission meetings is available both in-person or by submitting them electronically.

Electronic Comment Submission

Online submissions for public comments can be submitted below.

Comments must be submitted by 3pm the day of the meeting. Email or written comments that have not been requested to be part of the record will be acknowledged during the meeting but not read into the record. Email or written comments that have been requested to be part of the record will be attached to the minutes of the respective meeting.


In-Person

The public may make comments in person during the visitors' section of a meeting by completing a Public Comment Card prior to the meeting or when public comment is opened during a public hearing.
