Engineering and Construction Inspections The Engineering Department provides planning, engineering, and maintenance services for Addison's infrastructure including streets, traffic signals, drainage, water, and wastewater. We oversee implementation of capital improvements and provide a thorough engineering review of all new development and inspection services for construction projects.
Stormwater & Pollution Prevention Storm drains do not connect to sanitary sewer systems and treatment facilities. Which means improperly disposed of oil, grass clippings, plastic bottles, and other hazardous and unsightly materials are released directly into our streams and rivers. Find out more below on how you can protect the water and people of the State of Texas.
Streets & Traffic Services The Streets and Traffic Services division provides for the maintenance of the Town’s streets, sidewalks, traffic signal system, and the Town-owned street lights. This division also provides brush and bulky waste pickup and manages the Town’s third party trash hauler, CWD.
Trash & Recycling Addison staff will conduct a home pickup for qualifying bulk items and brush less than 6 feet long. Please allow a minimum of 48 business hours (Monday - Thursday 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM) for staff to collect; emergencies and special job operations may delay field crew response time.
Water & Wastewater Our mission is to provide continuous delivery of a potable and palatable water supply with adequate volume and pressure to all residential, commercial, industrial and public water consumers. We maintain the quality of wastewater for public health enjoyment, protecting wildlife, operating industries and for economic development.

The term "businesses" includes all commercial, industrial, local retail properties and buildings, apartment complexes and condominiums. This section shall not apply to single-family residences.
